The Personal Jesus was released in 1989 written by Martin Gore and produced by DM & Flood. This song is one of the greatest hits ever created by Depeche Mode and the live versions of this song are played since 1989. The guitar riff is unique, the drums are rhythmical, the lyrics and the chords give you a real Depeche Mode mood. To make a piano cover for this kind of DM songs is very challenging. The dynamics, instrumentation and the vocals are so perfect and so powerful, that the song played with other instrument can only be worse from the original. Even so I decided to make a piano cover of this all time classic Depeche Mode song. I tried to keep the rhythm and the essence of the song as real as I can. There were no re-chord experiments, no own creative parts, except one little adjustment. I decided to slightly slow down the BPM to adapt the piano sounding into this rhythmical dynamic song. The bridge in the middle of this song is based on the live performance from ‘’One Night In Paris’’. Through the song I have used Big Octave Strings to reach a little bit of balladic feelings. This piano version is easy to learn and easy to play. Now I want to share with you guys this masterpiece from the genius Martin Gore.
Enjoy and make your family and friends happy by playing this gorgeous song!

The song Somebody was released in 1984. It's from album Some Great Reward. Originally the piano was played by Alan Wilder till 1995 when he unfortunately left the band. I think Somebody is an all time classic Depeche Mode song. From 1984 to nowadays, the live performances are still amazing and I think they got better and better. The melody is unique, the chords give you a mesmerizing mood and the lyric is absolutely gorgeous. This cover was actually made for my brother's wedding day. So I was very cautious to make it accurate, clean and beautiful. In the end I am playing beside the basic piano, also the vocals sung in the original version. The cover got more precise feeling and little curiosity through that approach. I hope you guys like it! Learn, play and enjoy it!
The MIDI and MP3 files for Somebody.
From Depeche Mode, 1986 saw the release of the Black celebration album. This song was chosen as the most commercial one in the US, despite of the other deeper songs like Stripped or Black Celebration. Honestly, I am not impressed by the original version. However, when I saw the Martin's live performance, I was absolutely blown away. That's the way the song really shines! The tempo was decreased, the piano and Martin's voice... it is a deep magical perfection. I felt like there was no way not to learn that song. I was looking for for some kind of tutorials, but a couldn't find a proper one. So I created my own version. Now I want to share with you. Learn it, and enjoy this masterpiece from the genius Martin Gore.
The MIDI and MP3 files for But Not Tonight.
The piano playing was inspired by the live performance ''KROQ Acoustic Christmas'' from December 12th, 1998

Depeche Mode's another great single released in 1985. This song was written by Martin Gore during the Some Great Reward tour. The title of the song supposedly referred to Dave's mental condition. The original version was performed by Dave Gahan, but years later Martin started to perform it in the live shows. What a brilliant idea. The tempo was slown down, and singing only with the piano. They did it exactly the same as with But Not Tonight. Pure magic! My favorite live version is from Live in Milan. In my humble opinion we can see Martin's one of the best performances. There was no question in my mind, I had to learn that. So I created a piano cover of it. I am very happy for many kind comments from you on my youtube chanel. It's easy to learn and easy to play. Enjoy.
